Community Benefit Fund

We are dedicated to supporting long-term prosperity and well-being in the regions where we operate. That is why we emphasise the development of robust community benefit programs.

The Moonlight Range Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund (CBF) will invest at least $100,000 per year (determined by the final Project size) in community initiatives for the project’s operational life (up to 35 years). It is anticipated that a committee of local members, known as a Community Reference Group (CRG), will be responsible for the ongoing management of the Fund.

Initiatives for investment may include (but are not limited to) investment into education scholarships, sponsorships for community groups and events, co-funding opportunities for more significant legacy initiatives, or local business grants.

We are currently developing the CBF framework in consultation with the community. Your insights and feedback are important in shaping a fund that genuinely reflects the needs and aspirations of the Rockhampton region. Join us in this collaborative effort by taking our survey and registering your interest in being part of the CRG that will oversee the fund’s administration once the project is in construction. Together, we can create a brighter future.
