Located in Morinish South, about 40km west of the township of Rockhampton in Central Queensland, the Moonlight Range project is a proposed wind farm and battery energy storage system (BESS) development that, if approved will contribute to Australia’s clean energy targets. With an expected capacity of up to 450MW, the project aims to harness the region’s natural resources to generate clean electricity for approximately 260,000 homes annually.
